Beijing: Part 1

got so tied up at work lately. management sucks!
preparing for the start of the new year and getting ready for brother’s wedding.

back from beijing like 3 weeks back. it's a sweet november!
finally manage to write bits by bits everyday! =X

yoohoo, i always wanted to go china when i was little! because looking at the map when i was smaller, i thought it was a big country.

and yes, i’m back! i'm glad that i'm back! it has totally changed my perception towards china to the “downiest” time after the first visit! i'm sorry to say, but their culture is so different and i could hardly tolerate it!

mission to visit beijing: climb the great wall of china (our first wonder)
who is on mission with us: Chermaine and Francis

it was just 8 days jaunt! and for the first time when holidaying, i look forward to go home almost every night.

luckily, I got good companion during this trip.

very first damage just before we reach beijing: iPad!
babe bought this in the airport, its hundred nish cheaper than usual. worth it though.
methinks =)

after the long night flight with singapore airlines, and with my sit-sleeping position, my neck is aching almost the whole next day.

the weather is so cold, early in the morning reached zero degree. average weather temperature through out the 8 days was about 3 or 4 degree celsius. told babe that when i was in hokkaido few years back, it was snowing and i didn’t even wear long john, why this time round beijing weather is so so cold!

babe replied and say: because that time you were younger and stronger, now you are old!
*feel like punching his face! immediately hearing him saying this.

first station - experience the local tricycle sight-seeing tour around the beijing hutongs.

the wind blew through our faces was a total torture! use my shawl to cover my whole face through out the ride. touring the traditional alleys and courtyard at the old streets of beijing and also stepped into centuries old courtyards with the famous 9 snacks street.

if not for the coldness, i think its quite nice holding babe’s hand while we trishaw-ing.

first day was tiring because no proper bed to sleep in, ended our night early by checking in hotel early. didn't manage to take much photos on the first day either. went to supermart near hotel area and bought some beers and water. and we saw this!! we managed to manufacture our brand name by making loft of bread! Wahahhahaaa.

it’s our bimbo’s club production.
