Happy Wedding Monthsary!

Satur-date with hubz! It’s our 1st wedding monthsary last Saturday, hubz planned a day-out for us!

Laze and cuddle on the bed till noon is the best thing to do every-weekend, agree?

Woke up in the noon and taking own sweet time getting ready to head out, went to the favourite neighbourhood coffee-shop for lunch before starting our adventure~

First stop, to the River Safari! Arrived in the late noon, the weather was awesome!

The River Safari consists of 3 main parts - River Adventures of the World, Giant Panda Forest and Wild Amazonia. The Amazon River Quest, which is part of the Wild Amazonia boat ride experience is not ready and will only open to public towards the end of this year.

There were tons of animals to spot during our whirlwind journey! Ranging from beavers, paddlefishes, Mekong catfish, alligators, barramundi to even a peculiar-looking softshell turtle. But of course, we were so excited when we approaching the most adorable envoys from China - the Kai Kai and Jia Jia.
This is kai kai! Jia jia is so shy.. we waited about 15 minutes before we could see her!
And only snapped her butt!! Kaays, not really.. Because, my phone low batt! So when arrived Jiajia, I couldn't snap anymore photos! Boooo~
I love photogenic food!! How cute is this?!

Ended our River Safari adventure at about 5.30pm. Hubz brought me to Yakinikutei-Ao-chan for dinner!

It was crowded and mainly based on reservations booking. So remember to call for reservation before heading down to avoid disappointment!

I absolutely love yakiniku! Sizzling meats over the hot grill, and juicy on the inside.
They serve different types of meat, mostly beef. Pricing ranged from $10 and above.

Hubz is a carnivore!! He loves BBQ meats, perhaps, it’s because I’m very fussy over the greens that I eat. So this made me became a slightly meat eater too!

The spread of meats for just the two of us:
Top: Ox Tougue Prime, $16.80 (honestly, it's not bad! but the thought of "tongue" made me goes, eeeew~ Hubz loves this!)
Left: Pork Belly, $9.80 (this is the normal Pork Belly, with rating 3/5)
Right: Belly Tender Prime, $19.30 (is god-awesome! Must TRY, if you are beef lover)
Left: Ibelian Ton Toro Karubi, $12.30 (another Must TRY dish, hubz and I love this..)
Right: Japanese Pork Belly, $12.80 (their marinated sauce is oh-so-good!)
Under the raw beef dishes, we saw this yolk looking real good in the menu and we just ordered it. Didn't know this has to be eaten raw.. and we actually attempted to grill it. What a joke! Wahahaha~
Never expect this could be so nice! Doesn't taste funny at all, and it's sweet with their special sauce and the raw yolk!
Rating 5/5!
I like it~ Try it if you want to try something else other than fish sashimi!

Last activity of the night! Hubz booked a movie at the Cathay platinum suite!
It’s my first time watching a splendid movie at the platinum suite, say me noob! Aaha!

Thanks hubz for this, it was god-awesome.
With blanket and pillow provided, and lying down enjoying the 2 hours show! Yahoo~
Before marriage, after marriage! I feel the much-ness love from hubz.. felt so blessed to have him!

Thank you baby, and happy 1st wedding monthsary to you too!

Bear Bites | 熊の食

With my current full-time job for the eleventh month today!
It’s has been really challenging so far.

Hitting setbacks are unavoidable here, as this position requires a lot of self-motivations and determination to get it right! At times, I do feel a little not up to expectation but glad that I have my only one colleague to push me along..

Ganbatte! Do my best! がんばって!

Met Karen and Peiwen for lunch yesterday before heading off to meet client! Saw people been posting about the bear paw and finally tried this yesterday.

Ain't they too cute to be eaten?
The Taiwanese-Chinese burger at Bear Bites 熊の食! The buns shaped in teddy bear paws. I bet these are kids' favourite! Heard that the Bear Bites was popular in Taiwan's Fengjia Night Market. Well, check it out if anyone going Taiwan soon~

There are 3 simple steps to ordering the Bear Bites Burger:
Step 1: Choose between Crispy Karaage Chicken and Oishi Fish Fillet
Step 2: Choose a bun – flavours include original milk, brown sugar, oat, yam, curry, squid ink and strawberry (seasonal)
Step 3: Choose a sauce – mushroom, tartar, Thai, honey mustard, black pepper, golden cheese

At $7.80 for a chicken and $8.80 for fish set with drinks and fries (add $1 for cheese fries). Guess this is pretty student-friendly fast food place now!

The only drawback is that the seating area are at an outdoor area, lunch under the tree with hot sun.. Not really a fancy combination, agree much?

But oh well, everybody loves photogenic food!

Try the beary cute burger!

Personally, I really like that juicy fried chicken with tar tar sauce! But the burger is real big alrightt?

Couldn’t finish the bread though. Love the cheese fries too.

Showed my nieces and nephew the pictures I took yesterday and all of them look so excited over it. Decided to bring them for lunch next week! Say yay to me!!

#EJCtour2013: Part 1, London and Rome

So many things to pen down, but don’t know where, when and how should I start!

I’m so excited to share about my wedding planning and preparation.
Used almost a year time to plan my kind of so-celine wedding.
BUT.. not going to share it now.!
Because, I have more exciting thing to dot it down here~

My june’s affair with my 2 girlfriends! So sad that Pauline couldn’t make it, but we are looking forward to next year road trip too!!
Finally went for a two weeks Europe’s tour with my 2 BFFs (Elsa and Jasline) in june. It’s an memorable trip before I ends my singlehood. Couldn’t take any longer leaves, thus only crash them on their 2nd week of their holiday.

Their first stop was to Heathrow, London for 2 nights and they went up to Berlin then Prague. There’s a huge rave over Prague city when I arrived, they are so in love with Prague. Most people regarded Prague as one of Europe's most charming and beautiful cities, and has become the most popular travel destination in central Europe as well. It’s the top romantic city to visit, I shall one day!

Next to Venice, this place may not seem huge but it is. Venice is made of different boroughs. The most famous is the area comprising the 118 islands in the main districts that are called "Sestieri" and they are: Cannaregio, Castello, Dorsoduro, San Polo, Santa Croce and San Marco, where the main monuments and sights are located. They say it’s a sinking city.. how true is that? I want to row the boat in Venice, one day too! Ah-ha~

Elsa and Jasline went one week ahead before me. I travelled alone from Singapore to Heathrow then a domestic flight to ROME to meet them! I thought I’m kinda brave, first time travel a super long journey all by myself!!

It’s 4am in the morning, as I still remember. So worried that I couldn’t wake up in time because I packed my last minute luggage till 1am nish the night before.
Our food for the ungodly jet-lag timing! woots~
I smuggled chillies over as well, sadly, my chilli sauce bottle broke in my luggage!!
The smell of chilli was so mouth watering for that 2 weeks in Europe..
*screaming*
Weather are so erratic! It’s summer, but weather forecast stated as high as 27 degree and as low as 11 degree! Were so contradicting on the clothes to bring! Finally, the girls say weather are hot, not to bring too much! Alright, unpacked some winter clothes off my load.

Singapore to Heathrow – I travelled 13 hours, sitting beside an auntie who she doesn’t talk at all. So.. alrighty, I watch 4 set of movies and read almost half of my novels! Didn’t really sleep much though. I thought 13 hours wasn’t really too long, because time just zoom past and I arrived London with a blink of an eye. Well, perhaps I was too excited though!

Waited 3 hours at the airport till my next domestic flight to meet my girls. Travelled another 4 hours to ROME! I realized I almost travelled 1 whole day without speaking much!! *getting annoying*

And yes! When I arrived ROME, I’m beaming with so much joys because my girlfriends standing there with this:
I made it~ and they touched down an hour before me and waited for me till we met!

Okay, it’s madness alright? It’s almost mid-night when I finally meet the girls. Were so excited till we checked in to our apartment, all the way unpacking some clothing and chit chat till we fell asleep!
Ta-dah.. I have got a welcome gift from the girls. How sweet can they be! A friendship bracelet from Venice, one each in different colours.

Stayed in ROME for 4 days.. weather are hawt!! Because it was so hot, we actually skipped some of the attraction. Places are full packed with tourist including us. Okays, maybe due to my jet-laged-ness on the first 2 days. =X

Started to explore early in the morning, and our first stop to Vatican City — St. Peter's Basilica, dome climb, and Vatican Museum!
Climb the stairs, walk down the street. finally get to the first stop - Vatican Museum!
Finally climbed the spiral stairs at Vatican!
Day 1, one stop at the Vatican Museum were pretty tiring! So we decided to end our day with some shopping instead to perk us up a little!!
*excuses, wahahhaa..
my only loots on the first day... bask through the street of temptation, and I only got this home as planned! *pat on my back!
Next day went to Colosseum, passed by Arch of Constantine and Roman Forum!
Set off very early to avoid the long queue. Simply look at the crowd, I mean spot the numbers of tourist at the Colosseum. If you can see.. =X
No joke, it's really crowded, we arrived an hour before the operating hours. We queued about 20 minutes on top of that!
The weather is my enemy! *Roar~
Umbrella came in rescue and has became my best friend.. Alright, all you want to laugh!
Gelatos are everywhere, my face are like this because this ice-cream cost me SGD$18!!
How expensive?

A lot more photos but i'm gonna do a selective writing, and selective posting! *Ooops~

Heading off to Barcelona on our next destination..

Barcelona are Love in First Sight!
I'm gonna stop here and continue the Barcelona's loves on the next post.
Oh man, I’m missing that already!!
