a short getaway in KL..

OK! here i go again – lack of updates.
it’s always so taxing to arrange and sort out the photos, so at the end of the day, i would rather not to pen anything in my blog. *sweat.

finally, there i go. if yous know, babe was assigned to work in malaysai, KL for 3 months and he has been traveling here and there lately. just few weeks back, babe required to be in malaysia for a week, thus, couple of our friends decided to go on a short getaway in KL to find him. went there over the weekend, reached KL early in the morning 5am and babe waiting for us till then.

rise and shine! rested for a couple of hours, and we are all ready to go for breakfast before the afternoon sun hit us. babe brought us to lot 10 hutong, as he strongly recommended us that all the food here was really good! especially the kim lean kee hokkien mee! as usual, my anything streak kicks in, and asked babe to buy for me. haha. yay, and it was really slurps slurps.! ok, i always like to eat black black stuff~

next, shopping always jerk us up! wellies, i would say KL is shoes heaven and i gotten 2 pairs in just less than 15 minutes. woots! unique architecture design for sephora is so tempting as well. gotten the urban decay naked palette from there as well. as compared to singapore, it’s 7 bucks cheaper. haha~

this shop gives a cup of candies when you buy something from them, so cute.

this maple butter is so nice~ and it's suitable for those who has sweet-tooth!

took this cute photo! the chipmunk family~ karen acted as simon together alvin and theodore, because simon bear is no where to be found in that shop. ^^
no make up early in the morning, cladding on my cap and big sunglasses everywhere i am. =X went back to hotel to wash up before we continue our shopping jaunt !

A&W is always so irresistible for me, the curly fries and rootbeer float are at best!

YUMS!

had our dinner at tree restaurant and they are famous for their giant prawn crispy noodles and beef hor fun! slurps~ if you wonder why they named it “tree restaurant”, a picture says so..

indeed awesome, the giant prawn crispy noodles is supa nice! despite my allergy to giant prawns, i purely ate that for my dinner. yums! and of cause, serve me right, my lips was swelling and itchy for the entire night. lucky wasn’t really visible!

the restaurant has its own of their kind, their kitchen is outside of the restaurant.
just by the road side. =)

went chinatown to enjoy the locals breeze, although walking with a heavy tum tum, we still up for the local lok lok on the roadside. pig blood is yums but bad for health, and i secretly ate 2 pieces. haha.

spot the pig blood..

patches of beer is always required in a getaway~ (excuses)
at least, we had a good sleep after that.

last minute shopping on the next morning. berjaya time square is quite a good place to shop, and i got a leather jacket from there.

krispy kreme is a must whenever i pass by them.
doughnut is so soft and nice, i want peanut butter now!!

holidays always passes like F1. yawns.. especially when i just got back from korea last week. will update more on my korea trip soon!

Hari Raya

uncle leong moved!
their new location : tebing lane @ punggol promenade
------

uncle leong’s crabs are always all-time favorites! went there a couple of times but no chance for prawning, and here we go. went prawning with the fellows, just i thought prawning has becoming one of the fastest growing pastime of singaporeans and i guess indeed! it was super crowded when we reached and we had a hard time finding a spot. rented the rods and we prawned for a good 3 hours for 30 bucks.

4 rods in total and we managed to catch 40nish prawns? ok, i only managed to catch 6 measly prawns through out the 2-3 hours. i must concur that it looks easy but actually it’s not! there’s a technique to hook the prawns. i let a lot get away as i didn’t know how to hook them up when they were nibbling on my bait. i’m not a naturally talented fisherwoman though! haha.

it was a good place, with good food (uncle leong) and good entertainments – suchas prawning and billiard. we girls are prawning and bbqing while the boys went for a couples of billiard games!

wooop! we girls ate almost all the prawns and left a pathetically 1 prawn each for our boyfriends. yums! together with their chilli is mad good!

---
on a side note, selamat hari raya to my bestie, elsa!
went her place and there goes our gathering gathering with yums yums foods.
snacking is unstoppable! and i think i added on 1 kg that day.. =p with her super cute nephew, xiao fat! he just look so chinese! oh my.. *pinch his cheek
