out of the blue, babe suggested cooking together at home and having a romantic candlelight dinner. i agreed straight away.

he was away for close to a week, and almost everyday, i’m doing all kind of research on the recipe and instruction of preparing the steak.

has been looking forward to the weekend when babe is back.

finally, marketing with babe at cold storage.
the feeling is so different, just like newly-wed. =X haha!

got our 2 pieces of sirloin beef meat at only 20 bucks, there’s free marinating service as well. 9 different marinate spices for you to choose, and being a garlic lover, we chosen the garlic steak seasoning.

there’s a corner for free recipe, you can just print it out on the spot! just in case, you do not know what you are going to cook! =)

started off with garlic bread, soup of the day and then grilling of our beef!

chopped whole lot of garlic, and my garlic bread is overflowed with it. eww.. i regretted being a garlic lover at that point of time. haha.

oh well, still, the colour look great isn’t it? after i removed the excessive garlic! lol!

okays, i was too busy with my sauce making.. didn’t take much photos.
prepared creamy mushroom sauce with booze! it tasted awesome, except that it was way to salty.. cos i added too much salt already!

well, at least i like it~ haa..

가족 여행

i'm back from korea for more than a month already.
almost forgotten how we spent our days there.
looking through all the photos now and reminiscing the times we spent!

it was a family trip, and the main purpose is for my 3rd brother. he is going to ask a hand of marriage from his korean girlfriend’s family. it was a parent-meeting-session! daddykins and mommykins ish so nervous!! haaa..

it was a very last minute arrangement, babe and i suppose to go taipei with winnie on the 15th, leave taken and can’t change dates to go korea with them. but, sweet daddy asked me to cancel my taipei trip and they will go on the same day – 15th. well, and so..here i go. changed our taipei trip to next year april. yup!

the itinerary and arrangement was made just one week before the trip and so..this trip was a full disappointment, nope! not the rejection of my brother’s girlfriend’s parents but with the tour agency that daddy engaged. paid 5 stars amount and in return was full of nonsense. if not for the companions, i guess this trip was the worst ever trip!

our flight was in the afternoon, so when we arrived, it was almost mid-night.

finally arrived incheon airport, had our super late dinner here:

everything started on day 2:
it was a beautiful day out with family.

visited gyeongbuk palace > namsan folk village > dongdaemun market > 63 tower / wax museum, 5D movie + sky Observatory.

we ended the tour by visiting the 63 Sky City, where you can get a bird’s eye view of the city from the observatory. the wax museum showcases life size statues of famous personalities and adaption of da vinci’s famous painting, “The Last Supper”.

there's a glass panel corner, those who wear skirt..you are not advice to go!

i really like this, the last supper.
it was quite a spectacular one.

caught an exciting 5D horror movie, if yous don’t know, 5D is actually 360 degree full wide screen and we are sitting in the middle of the screen in circle. you can turn the chairs to see all the effects coming out from the front, back or side! mommy is so cute, she is so scare but not to disappoint us, she just agreed to watch with us. we all surrounded her and she had her eyes closed at all times. not to scare her further, daddy and us keep on laughing through out instead of screaming. tour guide was wondering if that show was that funny, cos he only hear our laughter from outside of the theater. awesome!

the hand itchy signal is out, thus, everyone except sis and me went to the local casino.

girl’s night out, sis and I went meungdong for night shopping!!
bought all the beauty products there and we wasn’t prepared, the stuffs are so heavy and worst is without the guys around!

suppose to cab back to hotel, but the night charges was so high and we turned to public transport instead. took subway, walked back to hotel and together with approximately 10kg of beauty product (i guess). haha.
so exhausted and we sat at the hotel lobby for awhile before we went back to the room. ^^

day 3 to nami island > kimchi making & phtography in hanbok!
wasn’t a big fan of winter sonata, so i wasn’t into much feel at nami island.

babe and brother crossed over to the other side, mommy wanted to cross too.
told her better don't.. but she say she can, end up she turned to us and say
"if i fall, 都是你们害我的!"
we were like dot dot dot...
sis and i straight away pull mommy away from there. lol!

came across this, notice that all the stone on the floor was stack up one by one..
asked tour guide and then realized that it was an old saying, make a wish with a stone stacked up with another, and your wish will come true. and here i go… its been so many years, and my wish was still the same…………i wish i can……

i love tribal kind of music. was fascinated for awhile by this band.
if you notice, they have dream catcher on the instruments too.
so tempted to get one, but they cost 100 over SGD. totally not worth!!

daddy bought 4 bottles of blue label and 2 bottles of martell XO in dfs when we departed singapore. our every night drinking session with daddy was much deadly!! a bottle a day, keep the doctor with us!…

day4: dongwhasa remple > gooam farm exprience: apple harvesting, digging & roasting steaming of sweet potatoes

its so fun.. plucking apples and eating it fresh. what a breeze!

day 5: cheongdo wine tunnel > APEC house > nampo-dong
lunch was good. but due to tour’s budget, we only have 1 plate of beef and definitely, this wasn’t enough to fill our quarter of stomach! despite daddy and mommy’s portion was given to us.

end our day early at 4pm, cos we have an important morning meeting next day.

day 6: busan - free & easy in the morning > visit fish market > nampo dong and had the worst dinner our of life.

this was the most important day of the trip, we arrived busan the night before. where my future sis-in-law’s hometown is, and we are having the parents-meeting here in the morning!!

it was very pleasant to meet my future sis-in-law’s parents. everything went well, and they are very easy-going. unlike those in the drama with fierce mama with lots of requests and demands. =) had a very traditional korean lunch thereafter, with 40 overs of small dishes served. we are so full before the main course was served for us..

don't have much photos cos, it's all with my brother.
get changed and went for the half day outing to the fish market.

wish him a blissful marriage ahead. ^^

day 7: flight back to seoul and had our last minute shopping..
as mentioned, this trip was a great disappointment, will tell you why on my next entry.

alas, this trip was great with all my loves one around.
i want more.
