Carpe Diem

wrote this entry a little in advance, just in case i'm not in time to say happy new year to all!

always like to recap what i have done for the entire year, but a little too many occasions and events on the year of 2011! so.. needless to pin down. hehe!

few more hours to go and 2012 will be here! it’s always the same old phase, “new year, new me!” with the advent of the new year, a new era begins and with it comes new hopes and new possibilities. every year teaches us some life’s most important lessons, and with the learning of putting our steps forward.

a little note for myself; don’t let time passes me by again in vain!

of course, the happiness just doubled when i'm able to celebrate this special occasion with my loved ones. dig a little deeper.. hope my brand new year can be as good as this year, or even much better! i'm all ready and welcome the year 2012 with a bang. dad booked the whole restaurant, and we are going to eat, sing and dance whole night till the next year!

how’s your christmas celebration so far? mine has been great as always.

dinner with my favorite bimbz two weeks back, we picked a place that is economy and the noise level can be limitless de. haha.. cos our combine noise level is overstated ! went to yishun industry coffee house for the taste of thailand. the food there is awesome.

kays, it’s pretty bizarre because we did a gift exchange in a coffee house! caught almost everyone attention in the coffee house. we had fun, loads.

bought a log cake as well, and went to a ktv pub thereafter for a drink.
don't know what to do with the cake, so we sang

haa.. first christmas dinner ended and followed by my oldies fellows..

met my old fellow friends last week as well! few of my good friends when we were younger, great time catching up. had our first gift exchange session together too! continuously group whatsapp-ing with this bunch is a nonsense. as usual, talking nonsense is their forte. haaha..

settled our dinner at michelangelo’s, a great italian food at holland village.
like the ambience and the personal attention from michelangelo’s.

Mommy Birthday!

dedicating this post specially for my beloved mommy!

it’s her birthday yesterday, and we celebrated on the christmas day.
this is the shortest day in the year, because happy times always passes so fast!

this year is special, because everyone is in the house, despite it’s a holiday.

we have our new member, my korean sister in law to prepare a korean BBQ for the day. marinated of meat is mad good, together with her self-made chilli! thumbs up!

went to the supermarket early in the afternoon, started to arrange all presents by the christmas tree too. since chinese new year is just round the corner, thus we warmed up bits by starting our gambling den on christmas!

Oh family are all gamblers! mahjong to blackjack~ boo.. haha!

2nd brother marked up the gift exchange budget to $100! rejected by all of us, so we capped at $50 instead, however, rules many many. no chocolate, no daily products, no shampoo nor lotions, no cosmetic, and no product wrapper, must all be wrapped by ourselves. i spent almost whole evening to shop for that gift exchange! phew! but it’s fun max.. demanded pops to buy his own gift exchange too, despite he is a busy man! and he did!! =)
