don’t ask me why, but august is the month that i hate the most.

Day after day, time passes so fast. Happy memories are being buried without realizing.

Happy Red Day!

Its three days late! But still..Happy Birthday to Singapore!

I always love National Day, because most of the people down the road will clad on ‘RED’ clothing, or in ‘RED’ theme!! I love ‘RED’! Haha..

Company lunch last Friday is yummy, because of the durian pudding! It’s yummilicious! I swear. Rich durian taste, the feeling just like eating durian without seeds. Woots! Had our company lunch at Fairmont – Plaza Market Cafe, it’s buffet. Clad on a buffet-free top, that hides my tum tum away and with babe wearing a washout red t-shirt and thus the laughing stock of everyone. =X

Just realize that, I didn’t manage to eat a lot that afternoon though because of the crazy cohorts around. Having fun joking non-stop, nonsense non-stop and photo taking non-stop! Yayness!

Wish I could space out my entries and update more frequently but I hardly even have time to maintain my social life, let alone this blog! I miss my friends. Girl night out last saturday is a must share! Will be back sooon for that. :)

Have you heard about this before?

Just wanted to share this with all. Are you aware that the one dollar coin looks like a octagonal? Quick, take out a one dollar coin now..

Reverend Hong was an expert at feng shui and after taking lots of readings he said that the proposed constellation of MRTs tunnels and the huge amount of metal being driven deep into the Singapore bed rock would sever Singapore's Dragon Vein which is bad, bad, bad for the nation. Reverend Hong then offered the following advice: "If you want to continue with project, then u must give every Singaporean household - Indian, Malay, Eurasian, Christian, Buddhist, Muslim - every single one of them a Chinese Ba Gua. Or else Singapore will sink."

Oh no, there would definitely be racial riots. And how could Lee force every household to have a 'Ba Gua' at home?

Said the wise Lee - I have an idea. I know how to make EVERYBODY like to have as many 'Ba Gua' as possible and so, our one-dollar coin was born. That's why must have Ba Gua to withhold it.

But then, the economy didn't do quite as well as expected after the circulation of the one-dollar coin. Remember the '85/86 recession?

So the Reverend Hong was consulted again. He said that whilst the one-dollar coin did symbolise the Ba Gua, it was of no use if everyone had it in his pocket and failed to display it.

So wise Lee came out a novel idea again, and the Road Tax Label was born. It's Octagonal and it is displayed in every car. Maybe now, you think this explains the many years of booming economy Singapore had been experiencing.

However, with the recent turmoil in the region and now that the Reverend Hong is no longer around, what shall we do next?

Everyday, I have been keeping all the one dollar coin. In fact, babe and I have a competition - first to fill up the bottle wins a good meal from the other party.
