Karen's Bachelorette Night.

my nocturnal streak kicked in today! just got back from my granny's wake. tonight is the last night and granny is going to cremate tomorrow afternoon. don't how to describe my feeling now. so, decided to write a long-awaited entry. can hardly recall when is the last time laying back on my bed, writing an entry on my blog.

the month of june was an eventful one.
first week to hayden’s first birthday celebration and stayed overnight at aranda country club. second week for the most anticipated family day after so long to resort world and USS. third week to amara sanctuary for my company’s retreat. and the last week for karen’s bachelorette night at st. regis. wasn’t at home over the weekend for a month!

hokay! finally, down with karen’s wedding two weeks ago and for sure, before specking anything about her wedding..not to not mentioned about her bachelorette night first!.. here we gooo:

it was indeed a crazy, extreme wild and fun night! nine of us. we are so overly having truckloads of funs. as usual, before we party, of cos a dolling up session will not be missed! we spent a good 3-4 hours in the room and begin to doll up and what's more, we have 9 of us, so the time was much needed.!

we started to have our syringe of shooters as our welcome drink! there’s a so called “pimp” looking after us as well! haha. we pulled over at clarke quay, and decided to get the bachelorette going down the street selling her kisses! it was just a short 40 minutes? and she managed to earn some moolah for our drinks later at the pubs. not too bad.. =)

continue with our cosmosine thereafter, finishing all the wines and shooters was not easy, and within the short period. all of us was really tipsy! before we continued painting the streets red, we decided to go st. james. the bachelorette was so lousy! haven’t even start the second part of our night, she already got herself so drunk and she barely remember what had happened.

well, since the bachelorette can’t drink, i don’t know why i became the next target! a tower of beer, shared among the 4 girls.

the mixture of alcohol is a nono, oh man. and i was really drunk! went back to hotel, took a hot bathe and i was puking! oh damn.. apparently i’m so drunk than the bachelorette supposed to be! no more alcohol for me please, girls! let me off..

despite the noisy girls talking so loudly on the next morning, i simply couldn’t get myself up off the bed. slept till 12 noon and where karen pull me up with the macdonald breakfast! i was even dragged by them for a swim. i was deadbeat, but still, we had FUN!

JobsDB Retreat

i always like company retreat, especially with a big bunch of sporting fellows. 2D1N stay at amara sanctuary last month! indeed, we had a blast! thanks to our beloved MD, steven!

games in line starting from 12pm noon when the sun shinning at its highest peak!

reached sentosa at 9nish, chop an area for the games. marked the place with daiso’s loud hailer, and a table to set for all the foods and drinks. the weather was good, no rain but super sunny! and well, if you know, the usual me will be applying sun block lotion almost every half an hour. haha!

my virgin tag-of-war was zuper fun! but our safety protection was not good enough, the gloves we got tore very easily. just a couple of rounds, and our gloves was gone! we played captain ball by the beach too, the sun has suck away all my energy just after 2 or 3 rounds. it was really hot! sweated like nobody business, but i guess, i lost at least 2kg after all activities though. woots.

bbq dinner wasn’t that fantastic, but wells, it was the companions for the night that matters. a very cool video done by one of my colleague’s husband!

Bridezilla's Wedding Vol. 1

pending of blog entries awaiting.. has been so busy for karen’s wedding for the past few months. more than a month of preparation exchanged for a day of actions! but still, worth it!.

this bridezilla’s big day is just yesterday, and it’s finally over and done with! FYI, a bridezilla is a difficult, unpleasant and a perfectionist bride! will update again when i got all the pictures!

My daddy was one of them, and now I am so proud of him!.

First time seeing my daddy wearing tuxedo, first time seeing my daddy receiving an award like some big star!

Went to the gala dinner at Marina Bay Sands last month, and the awards ceremony was taken place as well. Everyone clad on suit with bow ties and evening gowns, it was an formal dinner! All my brother and myself went together with daddy and mummy. Too bad, sister is out of town, else it would another full strength event! Haha. Wellies, it was a great night, with loads of successful man and woman behind. That of including my daddykins too.

Vive le famille

it’s june holiday! and daddy suggested to bring the kids for a short trip.. the usual ideas to cruise and genting is a nah from the kids. moreover they just went hongkong on the last holidays. the kids straight away yelling for universal studio instead. i was like..good idea! why not? we can have a staycation in singapore!!

checked all resort world’s hotel availability and managed to book 2 family suite with festive hotel! but only for a night. but still, i love family day! dad promised to come along as well! *mad happy! =DD

checked in on a sunday, and the intended universal studio on monday (less people as well!). specifically took leave on monday too.! :)
dad broke his promise, only told us that he is not joining us in the morning. i'm so upset!! persuaded him to come at least for dinner, and yes, he say will reach the hotel at 6pm then.

brought the kids and mama to sentosa, palawan beach in the morning before we checking in hotel at 3pm. the kids has endless energy, the sun is killing me. and thus, mama and myself hide under the trees at all times. the sound of the sea and the touch of the sands is heaven, lying down on the beach mat, reading my storybook is breathtaking. little janelle enjoyed herself too! *peck her cheek!

all the way till 2nish, the kids are all drenched! get dressed and we pop to festive hotel and we were all thrilled over the huge hotel rooms. little janelle is so tired after the morning beach fun, and she knock out for her nap once sis cuddled her to bed while we bring the rest for swimming! my sleeping steak is kicking as well though. but still, 3Js pestering us to bring them to swimming pool. we done at 5nish, at the same time waiting for daddy to reached at 6pm. i'm so worried, worry that daddy will put us aero-plane! so, called him at 5nish, and he say okok. called him again at 6nish.. as usual, we waited till 7nish and he is finally here. GREAT! straight away went hard rock café for early father’s day dinner, my first time to hard rock café, so as most of us except babe shamus!

we had a great dinner together, and thanks to 2brother for the meal. the foods are yummi!

i was like.. ok.. enough of this scene already!.

brought daddy back to our hotel, and asked him to stay over, but he say "no". so 2 suite, and we have 2 maids sleeping on the sofa bed, 4 kids to a king size bed in one room. brother last minute staying over and ended up we have 4 adults squeezed to 1 king size bed. phewww..and that of with babe fat boy as well! haha.

told the kids to sleep early because we have got a long day to universal studio on the next day, but i guess they were just so excited and can’t bear to end the night early. whilst we just pop to casino for the rest of the night!! the idea of losing 100 bucks even before you went in to casino is always so demoralizing! lost 125 bucks on that night though, but with daddy won 3k and woots! our night stay at RWS and the universal studio were covered!!

mommy lost 400nish bucks as well, so she say, on the next morning she want to recoup back her lost and so do i! went down to casino early in the morning 9nish. just within 1 hour, 900 bucks added! *mad happy! gave mommy 200 bucks to cover her lost though. wheeee~

alrights, rushed back to the hotel for checking out and universal studio. everyone are keyed up for the day activities!

universal studio, here we come~!
starting with the first world to madagascar! we completed almost all the rides, sis and i brought big J for her first roller coaster ride too at the enchanted airways then revenge of the mummy. good job, girl. and she want more! 3brother joined us in the late afternoon as well. sis, bro and i completed the battlestar galactica rides too.

didn’t managed to take the battlestar galactica rides on my first visit due to maintenance, and the ride was not opened yet. and this time, we did it. the blue cylon and the red human. it was so awesome! the blue gives the suspended coaster goes up, around and upside down with intense corkscrew and a cobra roll. 90 seconds for each ride is really an awesome one, a must-try ride!

we bought the express pass for all of us at 30 bucks each, and basically our waiting time for all the rides are almost immediately. it’s worth it, comparing to some 45 minutes queuing time.

brought the kids for macdonald dinner before heading home. I regret not taking 2 days leave instead, lying down on my sofa and i do not want to move at all when the clock only hit 10pm.
